Pakistan Green Roots (PGR)
The Pakistan Green Roots (PGR) initiative officially took root as Dr. Nadia Anwar, Dean SLA, inaugurated the plantation activity by planting the first sapling.
Joined by Dr. Amna Shahid, Head CFL, Ms. Aasma Nijabat, students, and volunteers, the event marked the launch of a nationwide student-led movement dedicated to environmental sustainability and community service.
Under the theme “One Person, One Plant – Growing a Greener Future Together,” participants pledged to contribute towards a greener Pakistan by planting and nurturing trees in their communities.
Every tree planted today is an investment in a healthier, cleaner, and more sustainable future.
