About Us
Department of English Language and Literature (DELL) is renamed as the Department of Linguistics and Communications (DLC) to align it with the core objectives and functions of its programs. The Department was originally launched in 1999 to host and represent linguistically and culturally diverse population of learners.
The Department aims at learners who are interested in improving their subject knowledge, communication skills and critical thinking. One of the objectives of our programs is to train the learners for this ever changing and highly competitive world. Though the discipline of linguistics is relatively new, there is much scope of it in Pakistan and elsewhere. The graduates of DLC are severing in various countries and almost in every university of Pakistan. This is because the rigor involved in our programs and the best human and material resources at DLC.
