Structure and Composition

Each School Participant Council consists of four undergraduate representatives selected by the school administration. This inter-year representation ensures inclusivity and continuity, enabling students from all academic years to contribute to decision-making and leadership activities. A faculty mentor, nominated by the Dean, guides the Council and facilitates coordination with the Office of Participant Success (OPS) and school leadership.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Council acts as a liaison between students and the school administration, representing student perspectives on academic and extracurricular matters. Key responsibilities include:

  • Representing student concerns and submitting structured feedback to school leadership.
  • Promoting effective communication between students, faculty, and administrative offices.
  • Supporting mentorship initiatives and student engagement programs.
  • Encouraging community involvement and leadership development activities.
  • Facilitating forums, meetings, and consultations to enhance student participation.
