Miss. Faiza Abid is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Linguistics and Communications, Institute of Liberal Arts, University of Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore. She holds an MPhil in Applied Linguistics from Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore, and an MA in English Language Teaching and Learning from the University of the Punjab. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD in English (Linguistics) from the University of Lahore, with a research focus on discourse studies, Forensic Linguistics, corpus linguistics, and sociopragmatics. Her scholarly work demonstrates an enduring interest in critical discourse analysis, multimodal communication, and linguistic practices in Pakistani socio-cultural contexts.
