Dr. Amina Khalid is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Linguistics and Communications at the University of Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore. She previously served as Chairperson of the Department (DLC), contributing to the development of its academic programs and administrative growth. She earned her PhD in Linguistics in 2022 and has over twelve years of teaching and research experience at the university level.
In 2016, she participated in the Collaboration for Faculty Excellence in Teaching and Research (CFETR) exchange program at George Mason University, USA. Earlier, in 2012, she completed the Cambridge CELTA at the Berlin School of English, Germany, gaining practical experience in teaching English to adult learners from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Her research interests include Sociolinguistics, Second Language Acquisition, English Language Teaching, and Syllabus Design.
