Shama Iqbal Hussain is a Lecturer at the Centre for Languages (CFL). With over six years of university-level teaching experience, she specializes in Academic and Functional English, Expository Writing, and communication skills for foundational and cohort-level undergraduate students. She currently leads the CFL Student Professional Development Committee. Her research interests encompass Comparative Literature, Pop Culture Narratives, AI-driven computational models in ESL writing, and Non-Western perspectives in digital education. She has authored multiple peer-reviewed research papers, contributed a book chapter to Taylor & Francis’s Song Studies: Approaches and Perspectives (2026), and presented at various national and international conferences. She also serves as a peer reviewer for Cogent Arts & Humanities. (HEC W Category)
