Naheed Ashfaq Qureshi is an Assistant Professor with an MPhil in Applied Linguistics and over 13 years of experience teaching undergraduate students. Her teaching and research interests include Critical Discourse Analysis, Creative Writing, Faculty Development Training, Curriculum Development, and Semantics & Pragmatics. She has authored/co-authored more than 20 research papers and conference presentations and has supervised 3 MPhil theses and 1 BS thesis. She has conducted, organized, and attended several webinars, seminars, and workshops, and has completed 3 Coursera courses in 2026. At UMT, she has served as Course Head English-II, Peer Observer, LAP Member, Face of SLA (October 2023 and July 2024), Twice a Star of CFL, Editor-in-Chief of the SLA Newsletter, CFL Clubs and Societies/Committees Focal Person, CFL Focal Person etc. Her achievements include the UMT Long Service Award 2023. She possesses strong communication, research and analytical skills.
