I am Amina Shah, a Lecturer at the Center for Languages, School of Liberal Arts, University of Management and Technology (UMT), where I have been associated since 2019. I teach and mentor undergraduate students while contributing to the university's language education initiatives.
I hold an M.Phil in Educational Leadership and Management from Beaconhouse University and a Master's degree in Linguistics from Kinnaird College. Prior to joining UMT, I spent seven years with Beaconhouse School System, building a strong foundation in classroom teaching and educational practice.
I am currently a PhD Scholar in Education at UMT. My doctoral research examines the effect of transformational teaching practices on undergraduate students' English language learning agency in technology-enhanced classrooms, with a particular focus on self-efficacy as a mediating factor.
